Vehicle Description
Built for almost 22 years, the K5 Blazer was the smallest full size
SUV version that GM offered. Although SUV was not really a thing
then so they really stood out and were actually quite large
compared to todays SUV's.
The Blazer had removable tops and were offered with four power
plant choices ranging from a small strait six cylinder to the 350
cubic inch V8. And all of these produced different power depending
on the year and technology. The earlier models offered a automatic
transmission or a manual with three or 4 speeds.
The early model K5's have become very sought after in both the two
and four wheel drive variants. The 1971 K5 Blazer offered here came
to us from Montana. The turquoise paint remains in excellent
condition and shows well. The chrome bumpers are in great condition
as well. The Blazer has new carpet and the seats are in good
condition. Highlights of this awesome rig include factory steel
wheels with beauty rings with 31x10.5x15 tires, roll bar, dual
exhaust, removable hard top, power brakes and power steering. This
Blazer is powered by a 350 v8 paired to a column shift automatic
transmission that shifts smoothly. It goes down the road smoothly
and handles well.
