1967 Chevrolet Chevelle
Malibu L32
With a complete restoration of the bodywork to a very good
standard, much of the underlying metal was replaced, including the
trunk floor and lower quarter-panels. The paint was professionally
applied and new bumpers fitted, while much of the remaining
brightwork was also replaced at the same time. The Rallye wheels
are a delightful period touch while the stance is correct and
attractive. The vehicle is mechanically sound and runs well,
powered by a 283 cid V-8 engine with camel heads and a mild
camshaft grind for additional performance. The drivetrain,
including the 2-speed automatic transmission are believed original,
but has not been verified by the consigner. In all, a fantastic,
attractive muscle car that can be driven and shown without
regret.
Auction Estimate: $20,000-22,000
