"This car was bought by my Grandmother, Sara Thierman, in January 1956 when she was 77 years old. Sara was the widow of the town doctor of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and one of the first woman drivers in the area, having received her driver's license in return for 25 cents.
Sara drove the car around town and from time to time on long trips to Florida through the early 1970's. The car then passed to my father and then to me. The mileage shown on the odometer is accurate and original. The car has been continuously garaged since new, and well maintained. Recent work includes a transmission rebuild, new gas tank and the installation of hardened valve seats appropriate for unleaded gas."
