the automotive scene in 1963 it set a new standard of styling
excellence for large American cars. Our stunning 1964 Riviera, with
its correct Regal Black (AA) paint and beautiful chrome, perfectly
highlights the award-winning styling that inspires awe to this day.
Lurking beneath the expansive hood is the legendary Buick Nailhead
V8, waiting to deliver its tremendous torque to the Super Turbine
400 automatic transmission. In addition to the numerous comfort and
convenience items that came as standard equipment on the upscale
Riviera ( PS, PB, etc.), this beauty features a host of optional
extras including a Sonomatic radio with electric antenna (D2),
corner lights (H2), Soft-Ray tinted glass (I6), power bucket seat
(J2), tilt steering wheel (L1), air conditioning (N2; upgraded to
Vintage Air), protection group (S6), remote control outside mirror
(S7), power windows (U7), automatic trunk release (Z4), and factory
custom trim with walnut veneer. Chrome 18 wheels wrapped in Nitto
NT555 tires (255/45ZR18 f, 285/40ZR18 r) perfectly compliment the
paint and trim. The frame, chassis, and floorpans are in excellent
condition and clearly visible in the last 2 photos. Extensive
documentation includes the original Guard-A-Plate, original owners
manual, dealer invoice, titles, registrations, receipts, and
photographs. This is a strikingly beautiful machine that can be
comfortably driven anywhere and is sure to draw an admiring crowd.
