For Sale: 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad in Downers Grove, Illinois
Toreador Red Chevrolet Belair Nomad wagon. This car is a beautiful
example of American Muscle from the 1950s. This Nomad is in
wonderful condition and was the product of a 5 and-a-half year
restoration project. Under the hood, she has the 283ci 4.6L V-8
Super Turbo-Fire engine producing 220 horsepower. A 700R 4-speed
Automatic Transmission has been added to this Nomad replacing the
three-speed Manual Transmission adding ease and comfort on the
highway. The Nomad has the black and orange interior, push-button
AM radio and single chrome exhaust. Power windows have been added
to the Nomad as well. You will be hard pressed to find many flaws
in this beautiful machine. This Nomad was restored about ten years
ago and has been shown in the local Chicagoland area to some
degree. This is an honest old car looking for a good home. You
certainly wouldnt be ashamed to roll into Cruise Night or onto the
