GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this super clean, 1965 Plymouth
Barracuda Formula S for consideration. For 1965, the Formula S was
the top performing Barracuda powered by its healthy 273 Cubic inch
V8, automatic transmission and sure grip rear axle. The car
features an older restoration finished in Medium Blue Metallic
exterior paint with its silver stripe over black interior. The
interior is wonderfully designed from the factory and features
bucket front seats, console shift, in dash tachometer, factory
radio, beautiful original trim and bright work, fold down rear
seat, 3 spoke steering wheel, newer correct seat upholstery, newer
carpet, etc. The exterior paint is excellent as well, lays flat and
remains very glossy. The engine area is clean and detailed, trunk
excellent and underbody remains clean and painted. Mechanically,
this 1695 Barracuda runs out very good in all areas. The 273 V8
runs strong and sounds great through its Flowmaster Exhaust, the
transmission shifts smooth. The car hails from the desert southwest
and appears to retain its original sheet metal and possesses an
excellent core structure. Another added bonus is a Vintage Air
Conditioning system has been installed on the car.
The 1965 Plymouth Barracuda is a unique muscle car with very
specific styling cues and rugged performance. These cars are not
seen on a regular basis and one in this condition will command
attention.
