Vehicle Description
A fantastic presentation of a nicely-restored and V8-powered 1967
Pontiac Tempest. So dig deeper on this turn-key classic, and
discover all the great upgrades and investments that make all the
difference.
It all starts with the paint. The slick presentation is courtesy of
a solid investment in respraying the factory-correct Montego Cream.
More than just extra luster from the modern clearcoat, there was
special attention to get the panels straight, so the light rolls
evenly across this classic. And there's even a nice pinstripe that
helps highlight the Coke-bottle curves that made these Pontiac
A-bodies so famous. This is so complete that even the brightwork
has received attention, too. So it looks great on everything from
the big chrome bumpers, to the headlight surrounds that highlight
the stacked eyes of this wide track machine. And just for an added
touch of aggression, this one carries modern Boss alloys that are
staggered 18/20 inches front/rear.
The deep and dark black interior feels fresh from investment. And
while these were intermediate-sized cars in 1967, today that means
plenty of room to take up to five family and friends along with you
for the ride. But even when it's just a solo drive, this Tempest is
built around you. The three-spoke steering wheel provides that
perfect vintage grippy feel; the full round gauge package is quite
sporty; and the upgraded auxiliary readouts are a clear indication
of something special under the hood.
The black inner fender walls and firewall do a great job of
funneling your attention to the tidy V8. The 350 cubic-inch motor
looks great with the correct turquoise on the block, bright air
topper, and upgraded Pontiac valve covers. Plus, this V8 has plenty
of power thanks to a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock
intake, and a rumbling dual exhaust. More than just the mean
rumble, this one was built to be a true cruiser. Not only do you
get great factory-style features like power steering and a TH350
three-speed automatic transmission, but also there are all the
right upgrades. For example, there are thick sway bars front and
rear, and you have the grip of modern performance tires. And not
only is there a new brake booster, but you also have modern front
disc brakes with driller rotors.
This is a great all-around driving classic that also knows how to
make an entrance. So if you want it all, you need to call
today!!!
