1942 Oldsmobile 68c Eight Cylinder Convertible
Oldsmobile convertible, 1942 Eight Cylinder Model 68C. This is a "barn find," original, never restored example and believed to be one of only three known. It has been dry stored in the basement of a museum, from 1965 up until I bought it about 10 years ago. Very recently we decided to get her running and serviced up. The gas tank was cleaned, the fuel pump was rebuilt and the brake system has been overhauled A to Z with a new master cylinder, new wheel cylinders, new brake hoses, etc. The correct type battery is brand new. The transmission was serviced. She starts easily and runs excellent. The power top does not work, but everything is there and untouched. No Rust Out Anywhere, Ever! This car is good enough to massage and preserve as a survivor. Mileage is 41,766 and is believed as original "from new." Mileage is supported by early oil change stickers.
