Probably one of the very nicest 1999 Cobra anywhere especially when
augmented with the Saleen package. This car is flawless both
mechanically and cosmetically. The aluminum 4.6 liter 281 CI, Dual
Overhead Cam 32 valve naturally aspirated engine is hand built at
the Ford plant and signed by the assembler. The previous owner had
the car dyno-ed and she produced a very respectable 320HP. The
mufflers are Hi flow cats with Bassani mufflers and exhaust for a
beautiful smooth and powerful sound that's just right (not too
loud). Rear end is 4:10 gears with independent rear suspension,
Eibach suspension kit with adjustable QA-1 rear shocks all lowered
1.5 inches. The paint is original and gorgeous. Even under the hood
is extremely shinny and the red looks fantastic with the blue and
aluminum accents on the engine. The car has been registered with
the Red Mustang Registry Association. The appearance is accentuated
by the professionally-installed "authentic" Saleen package
including front and rear fascia, rear spoiler, rocker panels,
decals and graphics. The coolest is the fiberglass speedster cover
that converts her from a 4 seater to a 2 seater. . Absolutely zero
road rash on the 18 inch Saleen chrome wheels. The soft top is like
new and goes up and down quickly/smoothly. Seats are Corbeau with
customer Cobra logo embroidery. Tires are brand new top-of-the-line
BF Goodrich 295-35R18s. Lastly, the car fax is totally clean with
no accidents. Mechanically she's perfect as well. Runs fantastic
with exceptional sound from the tuned exhaust. Shifts smooth
through the 5 speed trans through the Steeda Tri-ax short throw
shifter. Oh, and the AC is ice cold! Radio and CD player are clear
and sound good even when running the highway as 75MPH which is
helped by the fact that the car was soundproofed (I believe with
Dynomat?) All windows, lights, and gauges work as well. With only
49,XXX miles this beautiful motor is not even broken in. For more
