What better cruiser than a slammed 1962 Biscayne wagon!? This wild
custom is well built and guaranteed to turn heads whenever it
leaves the garage. When the Biscayne came out way back in 1958, it
was built to be an affordable family vehicle that would get you
from point A to point B. The year this one rolled off the assembly
line however was the very first year that Chevrolet brought out the
Biscayne wagon. Made with the family man in mind, nothing back in
1962 gave anyone the impression that this would ever be anything
more than just that. This is not your everyday Biscayne wagon
though. It has had air ride suspension put underneath it to lay it
on the ground and, while at cruising height, provide a more
comfortable ride. The pearlescent white paint job on it stands out
among the crowd and the flames really set the whole look. Moving
into the interior, the reupholstered red interior is very
comfortable and has a lot of the classic style that you would
expect in a 60's car. The steering wheel screams sixties with heavy
flake and looks like it was stolen off of an old bass boat.
Sticking through the transmission tunnel is a Hurst shifter that is
attached to the manual four speed and is hooked up behind a 350
cubic inch V8. This car was built to be shown, cruised, and
thoroughly enjoyed; if you are looking for a car that you can jump
in with your buddies and go to shows and the local cruise night
there may not be a better choice than this radical 1962 Biscayne!
