This is an unrestored Riviera with one repaint. The 401 engine, turbo 400 transmission, and 323.1 rear differential are numbers matching and never been rebuilt. That means the engine is original bore. The interior is 100% original including the carpet. I did add a tachometer and guages to keep tabs on the engine. Under the hood and trunk is all original paint The air conditioner still runs on R12 Freon and works flawlessly. The car was stripped of trim and chrome and repainted the original color with clear coat. The stainless trim was buffed out but none of the chrome parts were rechromed. Even the wheels are the original chrome plating.
I bought this car from the original owner and have owned it ten years. It runs and drives flawlessly and the pictures speak for themselves. This Riviera was sold new and has spent it's life in the southwest desert, so there is no hint of rust anywhere.
