Vehicle Description
In 67 the GS became it's own model, instead of a trim level also
known as the Gran Sport. The other big news for the 1967 Buick GS
was the introduction of the new 400ci V8 that replaced the age-old
401 NailheadBuick had been using for what seemed like forever.
The new engine made the same power, but ran better, revved higher,
and sported a futuristic air cleaner. The non-functional hood
scoops now face the front, and a new Super Turbine 400 3-speed
automatic was introduced that most critics said performed better
than the 3 and 4-speed manuals. The GS was now available as the GS
340 or the GS 400, the GS 400 being the more powerful, feature
packed car. Loaded with a factory tachometer in front of the
center console, roomy luxurious interior, nice color options, sleek
body lines, and the all new Buick drivetrain these cars flew under
the radar with a less expensive price tag than the Chevelle, GTO,
andOldsmobile 442. They produced 19,626 total GS's and only 8,006
equipped like this one.

This one came in Champagne Mist from the factory and was recoated
in the same color in 1992. The body is rust and bondo free and is
a 3 owner car originally from New Orleans. It starts up easy and
runs great. The engine, transmission, rear end, power steering,
power brakes, and even the factory tachometer and radio still work
exactly as they are supposed to. The interior is in great shape
along with the exterior and vinyl roof. There are a few small
nicks around the car as a whole but overall it would rate as a
9/10. Financing is available through JJ Best to help you get this
