Chevrolet Camaro convertible. This truly is a rare car. This
obviously did not come down the Chevrolet assembly line as a
convertible. There was a company called Auto-Form Corporation in
Bremen, Indiana. They would take trans am's and camaro's and make
them in to convertibles. This one here is a very fine example of
one of those cars. The paint is in really good shape considering it
is 34 years old. There are some "walmart" door dings here and there
but this is truly one awesome car.
As you will see in the pics, the interior is in great shape. This
car has an upgraded B&M shifter and all of the wood grain
accents on the dash and center console. This is a very comfortable
car to cruise around in. You will turn heads for sure as they
didn't make many of these.
Under the hood is where all the fun is for this baby. As you see,
this is not the basic and sluggish motor that came off the line.
This now has a 350 with all of the bright work trim in all the
right places. You have power steering, power brakes, and A/C. This
is mated to a 700R4 overdrive transmission and all of that goes out
to a 3.23 posi rear end. This car sounds awesome with a set of
Hedman headers going in to the stock type exhaust out back.
