Vehicle Description
$110,000 Frame off custom restoration with custom paint by
legendary George Winfield! Magazine cover car. This is a California
built custom for accomplished blues guitarist Eli Lester. Body was
lifted and the chassis was updated with state of the art air ride
suspension, fabricated tubular control arms and 4 link in the rear.
The entire chassis was powder coated. It rolls on 4 Firestone
whitewalls. The body is like his music.....smoooth. All trim,
handles removed, seams are filled. Bumpers were smoothed- bolt
heads removed, seams filled and bumpers were narrowed to be pulled
in tight to the body. Remote doors and tailgate. Body was channeled
over the frame so this thing can sit on the ground. Paint by the
fade master himself, Gene Winfield. There are 9 unique colors
including his trademark skunk stripe. Gene ranks right up there
with George Barris as a master old school customizer. Dash is
signed by Gene and a letter verifying he painted this car. The
interior is completely redone with attention to detail. Rear seat
folds flat. Complete with built in amp to plug in your guitar when
you get the urge to strum some blues. The motor was rebuilt close
to stock to keep it reliable. Some upgrades include Edelbrock
intake and carb, a custom made radiator, upgraded power steering
and power disc brakes. Motor compartment is gorgeous. Firewall is
smoothed, cables and lines are hidden. Handsome finned aluminum
decorates the motor. Has ceramic exhaust manifolds and handmade
exhaust by Coffin exhaust. This is a significant, top caliber
custom. Magazine car built to cruise!
