For sale in our Chicago showroom is this beautiful 1984 GMC K2500.
From the factory, the ton frame trucks were only given the option
of a lethargic 350 CID small block Chevy V8. While that was good
for putting around town, it hardly did any favors when it came to
off-roading or towing a heavy load. To resolve this, a 402 cubic
inch big block V8 was installed with the appropriate TH400
automatic transmission was put in its place to give this truck the
power it deserved from the factory. A heavy-duty 4X4 system with
locking front hubs is equipped as well, to make sure that the
weather is never an excuse to stay in. The Red and White two-tone
paint shine like the car was just painted, and is accented
wonderfully by the black vinyl and hounds tooth cloth interior.
Being a High Sierra edition, the dash was adorned with wood grain
styled inserts, typically reserved for the Cadillacs of the era.
Climb into the cab, crank the key and hear the big block roar to
life, ready to do some work. Putt around for your daily commute in
2wd, or drop the transfer case in 4x4 and enjoy the popping
tailpipes singing a sweet song of horsepower while climbing through
mud, snow, sand, or rocks. This clean '84 K2500 is sure to get
plenty of attention, and might even get you a trophy or two!

Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires
