Rare, Sensational All Steel 1933 Willys Coupe
New to our Pleasanton showroom is this beautiful 1933 Willys 2 door
Coupe with red exterior paint and a custom black leather interior.
This rare all-steel show car has been completely rebuilt from the
ground up within the last 400 miles and it features a powerful 383
Stroker V-8 engine under the hood with a 410 Posi locker rear end,
a Kugel front suspension, four wheel power disc brakes and a Turbo
400 automatic transmission. You'll also find an electronic
ignition, power windows, a hand built leather interior, a fantastic
400 watt sound system and so much more. This outstanding classic
must be seen in person to truly appreciate because the build
quality and the components are literally second to none.
Rebuilt from the Ground Up Over Last 387 Miles
The current owner of this 1933 Willys Coupe has enjoyed it since
2006 as the third total owner and he decided to completely strip it
down to bare metal and fully restore it late last year. That
included smoothing the steel body to perfection, adding show
quality paint and trim work, replacing the entire interior with
premium materials and overhauling the entire drivetrain. Every
plug, wire and component on this beautiful classic is fully
restored or 100% new, with extensive chrome work and impressive
wiring throughout. There are a few minor blemishes to be found but
almost every aspect of this prestigious hot rod borders on
perfection.
The Exterior
A closer look at the body of this 1933 Willys Coupe shows
sensational chrome work set around a flawless body and show quality
paint. The front grille in particular catches your eye with subtle
chrome accents around the headlights and tail lights- it is very
subtle and tasteful for such a high performance classic vehicle.
The custom wheels with wide tires in the rear also give this
Willys coupe an aggressive stance. With the elegant flowing side
skirts and professionally shaved door handles, you've likely never
seen a build so instantly impressive as the one before you
today.
The Interior
Likewise, the interior of this 1933 Willys Coupe is outstanding
with hand-sewn/hand-stitched leather seating, matching door panels
and custom leather work all the way across the ceiling. You'll
also find custom auto meter gauges, custom interior lighting and a
nice stereo system to make this street rod feel both vintage and
modern at the same time. All the craftsmanship is truly top
notch as well with a luxurious high-end look and feel. A custom
stainless steel gas tank mounted in the trunk completes the
build.
The Drivetrain
As you can see from the photographs, everything from the meticulous
engine compartment to the show quality undercarriage on this 1933
Willys Coupe was completed at very high levels. Despite the show
quality craftsmanship found throughout this vehicle, it was built
for functionality and this '33 Willys is incredibly fast on the
open road. With excellent power from the Stroker motor and a
suspension/rear end that can handle all the torque, this is a true
street rod that will fit in just as well at any track across the
United States. It is a true pleasure to drive and the handling is
exceptional.
An Outstanding Classic in Unbelievable Condition
Overall, this 1933 Willys Coupe is one of the nicest high quality
builds we've ever seen. If you're looking for a true "no expense
spared" classic that has Best in Show potential wherever it rides,
then you absolutely need to come see this phenomenal classic street
rod in person before it's back in a private collection forever.
