This is in every single way shape and form the greatest true barn find that we have ever seen. This amazingly perfect 1967 Mercury Cyclone was bought new in Vancouver, Washington, Driven as a daily driver until the early 70s, at which time it was given to the son as his school driver. In about 1976 it was given to the younger son, as his school car, He drove the car thru high school, and into college. In approximately 1982, in perfect running condition, this great American Classic, was put in the family shop, where it did not move again, until we pulled it out in the fall of 2017. This car was covered in inches of dirt, and was an absolute time capsule. Our beautiful Mercury, still wears her 1984 tags, and her lets boogie license plate frame. This incredible piece of history is 100% original, except for the metallic 1970s steering wheel that was put on in the early 70s. Yes, I said 100% original. Repeat this is the only one of its kind in the world with this paint and trim combination. The exterior paint is original; all the factory 1967 mercury cyclone pin stripe is also original. The factory fiberglass scooped hood is in perfect condition. The factory hood pins are also perfect. The Original paint on this beauty still shows a very nice original shine. It has only minor chips, and an almost perfectly straight untouched body. There is absolutely zero rust on this car anywhere ( except for very minor surface rust on paint) The interior is all original , headliner, dash, and yes even the front bucket seats, and rear seat. They are all in perfect condition, with no tears, or excessive wear. The carpet is new, and it is factory correct, blue. This is a very cool factory original color combination, with white exterior, white interior, blue dash, and carpet. All dash lights, headlights, and heater work well. The Motor was gone thru and has now has new oil pump, fuel pump, alternator, fly wheel, rebuilt carb, new gas tank, new brakes, etc. This super tough mid 60s very rare muscle car, is about as cool as it gets. The 1967 Mercury Cyclone is one of the coolest factory cars that ford ever produced. These iconic cars are very rare in any condition. This car is beyond a rare find in the condition it’s in. With its factory fiberglass scoop hood, hood pins, and bucket seats, this is one cool ride. In my personal opinion, this classic should be on display in a car museum somewhere, as the great original car that it is. This Cyclone has dual exhaust, and glass packs (from 1970) so she sounds super tough also. She runs and drives great. If you are a fan of mid 60s, super cool, factory cars, the Mercury Cyclone should be at the top of your list. If you are looking for a very pristine, original car, this car is the one.
