For Sale at Auction: 1973 BMW 3.0CS in Palm Springs, California

The car is one of 779 3.0s built in 1973 by BMW. It was sold by Crevier BMW in Newport in 1973. Several years later the owner traded it in on a new BMW with around 60,000 miles on it. Crevier had a museum of BMWs and he keep this one in the museum until 2011 when he sold his dealership to Roger Penske who wanted the museum for his race cars. Donnie Crevier, a friend of mine, sold me the car when he sold most of the collection. I have put about 5,000 miles on it since I bought it. I just replaced the air condenser, but other than that the car is very original.
