Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present this
undeniably cool 1973 Volvo P1800ES. The "ES" was the final P1800
variant produced. In its two model years, just 8,077 examples were
produced. This is number 7,596 produced. With the number of cars
produced being so low, finding this model in such wonderful
condition is becoming very rare. This Shooting Brake is a numbers
matching car. This Volvo is powered by its original B-20F 1,986cc,
4-cylinder, fuel injected motor. This is mated to a Borg Warner
3-speed automatic transmission. This motor produces approximately
125bhp. The ES brought welcome changes to the performance and
reliability of the 1800. As opposed to the earlier cars, the ES
received fuel injection and thicker cylinder heads. This P1800 has
all new carpeting and a new dashboard. Both of the front seats have
been reupholstered. The floors and rocker panels have been
inspected for rust and treated accordingly. The P1800ES is known
for its all glass rear hatch that influenced future Volvo cars.
This is definitely a car that will draw attention. It strays from
the norm of boring station wagons and adds some style and
character. This car is perfect for a collector or anyone who can
appreciate driving this classic. To see 100+ HD pictures and a
