Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present a
genuine barn find! You are looking at a 1966 Pontiac Tempest that
was discovered in a barn and then completely restored approximately
2.5 years ago. This Tempest has only 33,523 original miles and is a
numbers matching car. The rebuild on the engine and transmission
occurred just 1,000 miles ago. This numbers matching classic is
powered by the optional 326cid engine mated to a 3-speed automatic
transmission and has a 2500rpm stall converter. The rear end is
also numbers matching and maintains the same gear ratio as it came
with from the factory. The motor has an Edelbrock Performer RPM
intake manifold with Holley performance carburetor and Holley air
cleaner. It also has Erson valve covers. All of the panels on this
Pontiac are original to the car and it was painted the beautiful
blue color you see two years ago. The paint on this Tempest looks
fantastic and was clearly a high quality paint job. The interior on
this Tempest looks mint and the two tone interior matches the
exterior quite well. You will find an aftermarket gauge setup under
the dash to keep things in check. The air conditioning on this
classic blows cold and works very well. If you're looking for the
ultimate barn find that has been restored to fantastic condition,
look no further. This Tempest is available today in our Fort
Lauderdale showroom and ready for a new owner! To see 100+ HD
