Starting its life out in California, this very original truck has
been well kept for over 50 years! 1962 was the second year that
International Harvester produced the Scout and was only the start
to a great thing. The Scout was produced to compete with Jeep and
had a few different configurations. This great example has the
removable hard top on it that adds an extra layer of coolness in
owning one. The inline four cylinder in the engine bay was never a
power house, but could get the job done and crawl over some serious
terrain. Now sitting on a set of all terrain radial tires makes it
even better! The body on this truck is in great shape and made a
repaint very simple when it was done only two years ago using the
Seafoam green and white two tone combination. Slide into the nicely
reupholstered interior, push in the clutch, start it up! As the
engine starts to rumble and you release the clutch, you will feel
as if you have just driven into a different time period. The
interior is simple with only the essentials being equipped. Built
with only practicality and reliability in mind, this left no room
for even a radio in the cab. It brings back into balance the
relationship between driver and machine and will definitely help
you get lost in your drive. This truck has been well cared for over
the years and is ready for its new loving home where ever that may
be. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view
