This vehicle is a super rare 1947 Dodge WDX Power Wagon. These trucks were the first mass produced 4x4 offered to the public. These trucks were scooped up by returning GIs who had learned about Dodge truck strength and dependability on the battlefields of Europe. The truck is essentially a civilian bodied military vehicle and uses all of the same underpinnings. From 1946-48 only 5450 of these trucks were built, and very few of these trucks have survived the severe conditions and workloads most operated on.
