Car, Offered with Original Build Sheet and Aston Martin Heritage
Certificate, Very Original Condition Throughout, Delivered in New
Black over Gray Livery, Excellent Example to Restore for Show or
Service to Drive, Eligible for Vintage Road Race Events Throughout

LML/50/305 was built on December 20, 1952 and dispatched January 9,
1953 as a LHD, export model with instruction book and rear seat -
handled by British Motor Car Distributors. This DB2 was purchased
new by Phillip Farrar of Fresno, California in Black with Gray
leather upholstery, as confirmed by its accompanying original build
sheet. With long-term California residency, this remarkably special
Aston Martin was recently uncovered after decades of dry garage
storage. Many items had been removed for restoration or restored
including the chrome and trim while the interior remains remarkably
original. Now available for worldwide purchase and delivery from
our Houston, Texas facility, the car remains very complete and well
preserved for mechanical refurbishment or an outstanding candidate
for concours restoration.Currently displaying one repaint applied
later in life, there is evidence of its factory black hue visible
both in the engine compartment and jambs, and as stated the cabin
remains largely original throughout. Excellent aluminum body panel
fitment pairs well to numerous body number stampings (68237) found
throughout the entire car, including the body panels, trim and
upholstery. The dry and remarkably solid engine compartment and
undercarriage of LML/50/305 is a very rare sight among this breed.
The aluminum body is very straight and with good gaps. Many
original parts are included and pictured. With a tremendous racing
pedigree including victories at Le Mans and the Mille Miglia the
DB2 is one of the most important and iconic Aston Martin models of
all time. This is an opportunity not to be missed, we strongly
recommend close attention to this example as they are few and far
between, especially in left hand drive configuration.$229,500 FIRM
