1972 Olds Delta 88 Royal. Top of the line convertible Royal 88 (in
1972 there was no 98 convertible). This is the last year for the
non-impact chrome bumpers, so much slicker/smooth look and much
more sought after and desirable and also will appreciate faster.
This is a one owner with documents. Only 68K miles with more
documents. All original nice finish (code 75-A = Madador Red with
brand new working white top). Even has new, more desirable glass
back window (much more quiet than the big plastic back windows that
are cheaper.) Car was always garaged, maintained and pampered.
Original paint is nice, some deterioration left rear wheel lip
molding and small area behind left wheel. Excellent dry floors,
frame and body mounts. Bottom of doors and pinch welds all no rust.
Original owner's manuals and even warranty card all in glove box
which matches name and VIN on title. Bought in 1972, born in 1941,
so bought at 32 years old. Unfortunately, sold to us in 2018 at
only 77. Strong and tight bullet-proof famous 350 Olds Rocket V8.
Smooth 3-speed automatic, factory cold air, PS, power disc brakes
with dual master cylinder for safety. Brand new radials. Desirable
tilt wheel. Interior code 349 Saddle is like new. Desirable center
arm rest. Dash has no cracks, excellent door panels and carpet.
Full tinted glass. All lights work inside and out. Very straight
body, correct straight white body side molding. Excellent wood
grain on dash and door panels. Clean working gauges. Clean
seatbelts, great looking grill with non-impact bumpers. Excellent
