This El Camino has 948 original miles. It was delivered to Eye Chevrolet-Pontiac, Inc. in Anamosa Iowa early in 1987. In April 1987 Eye Chevrolet modified it to include a Monte Carlo SS front fascia, SS decals, Center chrome wheels, 245-60 R15 Goodyear Eagle ST tires and a Lacarra steering wheel. Somehow it ended up 185 miles away at Clements Chevrolet in Rochester Minnesota. The first owner purchased it from Clements on September 28, 1987 with 360 miles. It was immediately stored in a climate controlled warehouse at his trucking company in Rochester Minnisota where it stayed for the next 30 years, with minor exception. He transferred ownership to his Son in 2010 and it continued to be stored in the same location until February of 2017. When I spoke to the Son he told me that his father drove the car on rare occasion to local auto events. After his father's death in 2016 the son decided to sell the car and did so in February, 2017. I purchased the car from the third owner on April 3, 2017 who also lived in Rochester. The car was delivered to my home in Apache Junction, Arizona with 900 miles. I took it through emissions, transferred the title into my name and registered the car. I have some documentation including the original owner's manual and window sticker showing a list price of 13,534. The car is as it was delivered to the original owner in 1987 including the original aftermarket tires. It looks and drives like a new car and to the best of my knowledge everything works like new.
