Vehicle Description
History
The Chevrolet Impala is a full-size car built by Chevrolet for
model years 1958-85, 1994-96, and since 2000 onwards. The Impala
was Chevrolet's most expensive passenger model through 1965, and
had become the best-selling automobile in the United States.
The Impala was restyled on the GM B platform for the first time for
1961. The new body styling was more trim and boxy than the
1958-1960 models. Sport Coupe models featured a "bubbletop" roof
line style for 1961.
Many early famous drag racers and NASCAR stars ran the 1961
Chevrolet Bubbletop to victories all thru the year. Even a song,
"She's real fine, my 409" was written and sang by the Beach Boys,
and a legend was born.
You can own this legend today as we have a 1961 Chevrolet Bubbletop
