Vehicle Description
This 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS convertible just has "WOW" written
over every inch of its bold yellow appearance. But beyond the
aggressive looks, this loaded drop top has a serious supercharged
V8 to make sure it's memorable whether it's standing still or
passing everyone.
Those who know about fast and modern Camaros know about Redline
Motorsports. They make limited runs (this is #006) of super fast
machines. With that kind of legacy, we like seeing a Camaro that
grabs attention like this Rally Yellow drop top. It's one of those
factory hues that look like it could be custom paint. Of course,
that's also true because it's part of a larger custom package. The
special HTR side stripes and specially painted Lexani 22-inch
wheels merge nicely with the factory striping and black convertible
top to create a uniform yellow and black package that looks like no
other. So this one is too unique to even make Bumblebee references!
And while this is already an attention-grabber, the power bulge in
the hood, subtle rear spoiler, and bright exhaust tips, shows that
this one does a fine job of reminding you there is plenty of
performance under the skin.
Step inside where the premium upholstery on this Camaro SS
continues the car's dark attitude. But at the same time, it also
adds plenty of luxury. This is best seen on the black leather seats
that offer the kind of support and comfort that only a modern
bucket can. Being a retro car means blending old and new styles
together. The three-spoke steering wheel feels fat and grippy in
your hands. It offers an unobstructed view of the deeply recessed
gauges that are a modern take on the round dials in an early
Camaro. Auxiliary gauges are down low on the console where they
belong, just ahead of the desirable manual shifter. While all of
those are great throwback features, this one is also loaded with
modern conveniences such as power seats, power windows, power
locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, key-less entry, dual airbags,
and a modern AM/FM/CD factory stereo. You have a heads-up display
so you don't have to take your eyes off the road. Plus, with power
windows and a power convertible top, you never have to leave the
driver's seat go from enclosed luxury to a wind-in-your-hair
experience. And with both modern air conditioning and heated seats,
you'll be able to enjoy top-down motoring nearly all year long.
We know you skipped ahead to see the engine bay stuffed with
serious power. The original fuel-injected 6.2-liter LS3 V8 was
upgraded with a TVS2300 supercharger... and it's only the start of
the full Redline treatment. It also has been enhanced and fortified
with components like a Redline roller camshaft, Comp Cams trunnion
kit, Redline dual valve springs, and .080" chromoly push rods.
Plus, it makes a terrific rumble as the MBRP dual exhaust includes
long tube headers, high flow catalytic converters, and a
performance X-pipe construction. Best of all, you have full control
over the supercharged beast and its ferocious growl thanks to the
Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission. Because you want the
best performance over any pavement, you've got a fully independent
suspension, Nitto performance tires, and Brembo four-wheel disc
brakes w/ABS.
This custom Camaro not only looks practically new, but with barely
19K miles on this speedy droptop, it basically is! Don't miss out
on a powerful, unique, and head-turning modern classic like this.
