Vehicle Description
Premium, vintage, upgraded, and powerful... this 1969 Chevrolet
Camaro makes all the right first impressions. So with it's
glow-in-the-dark appearance, comfy A/C interior, and
performance-built stroker V8, this coupe has you in love/lust at
first sight.
This is a mean machine that instantly grabs all your attention...
and it's just the setup for the total package. The yellow paint has
all the right modern gloss and shine to let you know there has been
a recent solid investment in this classic coupe (there's less than
3,000 miles since completing restoration.) And dark touches like
the blacked-out SS grille are great standout sinister elements.
Plus, it has all your favorite Camaro pieces like the fog light
front valance, vertical stack-style hood louvers, mirror-like
bumpers, and the full-width D80 spoiler. And while it's all a great
vintage package, the modern Foose 17-inch alloys are a nice hint to
the upgrades that lie within the classic sheetmetal.
When you open the door, you immediately recognize a lot of time,
effort, and money went into seamlessly blending the worlds of
vintage appeal and modern convenience. You see it best on the
Procar seats that offer modern bolstering while instantly fitting
in with the fresh and dark appearance of the rest of the interior
(purists will be happy to know the factory seats are available,
too.) In-between these buckets is the classic woodgrain center
console with iconic horseshoe shifter. You'll grab Chevy's classic
three-spoke sports steering wheel, and beyond that is a full set of
Dakota Digital VHX gauges. And while all of this makes for a
terrific driving experience, a Camaro this cool is meant to be
shared with others. So this has been given some worthwhile upgrades
like the retrosound AM/FM radio as well as a satellite radio
controller hidden in the ashtray - that way you get modern tunes
while still keeping a vintage appearance. And everyone stays
comfortable with the ice-cold modern R134a air conditioning.
Under the hood is a show-worthy engine bay that has a ton of shine
radiating from within the dark black walls. This includes
investments in polished components like the custom bracing, air
topper, intake, alternator, compressor, pulleys, and valve covers.
But beyond this style is a whole lot of substance. You might have
noticed the Smeding Performance stampings on this fresh crate
motor. They built a powerful 383 cubic-inch stroker V8, and it
includes a Quick Fuel four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum
intake, MSD ignition, and Hooker long tube headers. Smeding stamped
it with 380 horsepower, and we sure believe it by the growl coming
from the dual exhaust. And the investments didn't stop in the
engine bay. When you look at the undercarriage photos, you're going
to love spotting upgrades like the tubular front suspension by
Speedtech, fortified rear by Chassis Works, and QA1 adjustable
coilovers all around. But more than just a pure performance build,
this one is a great all-around cruiser. In fact, Smeding calls this
V8 their "cruiser" motor by the way it can settle into everyday
tasks. And when you add in a three-speed automatic transmission,
power steering, front disc brakes, and the grip of modern Nitto
NT555, you've got the ideal all-around classic Camaro.
You can tell the superior level of investment by how clean and
fresh everything is on this build. It's the classic that was built
to eat the streets and keep you comfortable while doing it. A
finished turn-key total package like this is a rarity, so don't let
it slip away. Call today!!!
