For Sale: 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS 454 in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

Extremely rare, documented SS 454 LS-5. The experts estimate only 519 were built. This one is documented with a copy of the build sheet. Very clean car from the Oklahoma pan handle. Just finished a restoration by a professional. The paint is truly stunning in person. The underside is bone dry original metal. All of the front end parts were acid dipped then sent to MI for E-coat. The body is mint, paint is like glass. Inside the bed is glossy, bottom of tailgate is clean. I can personally vouch for the painter. He only does them the right way. He spent $6,500 just on paint materials. With proper care it will look this good in 20 years. He used many N.O.S. parts like weatherstrips, bumpers, misc trim. New windshield. Brand new $2,000 set of chrome SS wheels and radial redline tires. Has a GM crate LS-7 454 short block, new seals. Front end completely rebuilt and detailed. In back it has correct 12 bolt 3.31 posi and boxed control arms. New shocks, dual exhaust, $800 rebuilt radiator. Inside it has new carpet, seat upholstery, door panels. Pretty rare power windows and tilt wheel. Engine compartment is detailed to show condition, proper clamps, new valve covers, cadmium plated brake booster. Air conditioning needs compressor. This slick SS 454 is rare!
