1971 Chevrolet Camaro
This 1971 Split bumper Camaro was just finished in Quick Silver Metallic paint with along with a cowl induction hood, Overall it has minimal miles since the completion.
The Powertrain is built from a 6.0L LS cast iron block stock pistons crank and rods. it has the addition of a Corvette camshaft w/LS 2 intake manifold. LS 3 injectors flowing approximately 63 lb/hr. For additional smoothness we have installed a SFI certified vibration damper. Ceramic coated long tube headers Tuned with HP tuners for that perfect sound. It has the factory ecm with factory harness reworked with electric fans for additional cooling. As if this wasn't enough power, for as little added boost we have installed a ProCharger the P1SC reverse rotation supercharger adds excitement! This blower has been de-tuned with the 25% under drive crank pulley. Still more power available for someone who just can't get enough! the engine compartment is finished off with a aluminum radiator and a front mount inner cooler with polished aluminum tubing.
This Camaro has just the right combination for power and economy. This car on the dyno made 575 rwhp with the de-tuned pulley. The fuel system is fed with a Summit inline fuel pump(not the small one) using a Corvette fuel filter with the stock fuel tank and the engine has been completely rewired with a new wiring harness.
The transmission is a 700R4 with less than 200 miles since its build. This trans was built to hold serious power with a high stall lockup torque converter. This trans will shift into 3rd gear from second at wide open throttle unlike most other built 700 R4's. this trans also shifts and drives great under normal daily driving conditions.The rear end is a Z28 8.5" posi traction with 3.73 gears. For extra stability it has the Caltracs traction system. This car has front Disc brakes, along with front and rear sway bars. The front end was completely rebuilt with new front sway bar bushings and links, new lower ball joints and control arm bushings. This car rides on a brand new set of American Racing Wheels with a set of 275/40 ZR 18 Goodyear Eagles on the rear with the TOYO Proxes 245/40 ZR 18 front tires
Interior was redone with new carpet, along with the original (nos) dash pad. A new center console sports a AEM wide band air/fuel gauge. Custom built front seats recovered along with the original rear seat. Topping this finish off with a new headliner, and the visors were recovered. The door and trim panels are finished and are in new condition.
