1935 Ford Pickup Truck
The owner states: “This is a stock 1935 Ford Pickup. It
has a Ford flathead V-8, 3 speed transmission and the engine was
build by Roger Nielson’s Flathead Salt Lake City. It has new
old stock crank, pistons, valves, fuel pump, oil pump.
Everything in the block was replaced with new old stock
parts. It has hydraulic brakes, 12 volt electrical system,
crank out front window, recently painted and distressed
paint. I built this truck for our summer home in Idaho.
I have had the summer home for quite a few years and nobody knew
who I was. I started to drive this around the little town and
I became an instant celebrity. We call it the Fishmore Lodge
truck and had that painted on the side. I just drive it when
I am up there. On the truck bed side rails, all the fly
fishing shops in the area asked if they could put their sticker on
the rails. It turned out to be pretty cool. I’ve had
many happy hours in this truck.”
