1964 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova in Scottsdale, Arizona

Vehicle Description

This custom-built Chevrolet Nova wagon was originally a 4-door wagon but it has been chopped 8' and the two rear doors have been removed. Hundreds of hours of metal work were put in to create this custom Nova that is designed after a Hot Wheels toy model and autographed on the dash by George Barris. It is powered by a Steve Schmidt Blown 565ci big block Chevy engine and a 4-speed automatic transmission with a 4000 stall converter. The front subframe is built by Heidts Racing and has Heidts rack & pinon steering along with Wilwood disc brakes. It is fully framed with a narrowed 9" ford rear end with massive rear tires, all-new carpet and custom-built headliner, full roll cage, Kirkey racing seats, 4-point racing harness, and a chrome tilt steering wheel.
