Vehicle Description
This Ford Crestline Skyliner was sold new in California, made its
way to Spokane, WA in the 60s, and after twenty years it ended up
with a collector in Victoria BC who spent several years restoring
this Skyliner to its current glory. It was finished in two-stage
water-based paint with hand-painted pinstriping, and a new roof
panel was installed in 2010. It comes with the original split grill
and bumper guards. A 1954 DeSoto grille was found, re-plated, and
custom floated in the front cowl. A stamped louvered hood was
installed along with Laker side pipes, dual exhaust with
chrome-plated billet mufflers, continental stainless tire kit,
shaved trunk lock with power trunk, custom wire wheels, whitewall
radial tires, and a 1.5" drop. It has factory power windows, and
has been upgraded to power front disc brakes. It is powered by
Ford's first overhead valve 239ci V8 with a 3-speed manual
transmission with overdrive. Options included rear fender skirts,
stainless steel trim package, two-tone paint, dual sport mirrors,
power windows, and factory trunk mat, jack and spare tire. This
Skyliner comes with original bumper guards, split bumper and trim,
factory Coronado trunk spare tire cover, front factory hood emblem
with airplane hood topper, and a custom car cover.
