This survivor 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is for sale in our
Louisville KY showroom. The Mach 1 was option was released in late
1968 as a 69 model. Available only in the "SportsRoof" body style
sales were so good that it retired the GT badge which would not be
seen again until 1982. This example is what you would expect from a
car that has been maintained over the last 45+ years. Ordered new
from the factory with the bright blue metallic paint this 72 has
been in the same family ever since. The rear spoiler gives the car
some attitude while the Mach1 emblem in the middle lets everyone
know you mean business. A look from the front and you notice the
Mach 1 specific honeycomb grill which was a nice touch and helped
to separate her from the crowd. Under the stock hood is the
original Windsor that has powered this pony since new. Matched up
to the original 3 speed automatic this Mach 1 is the perfect car to
take a relaxing cruise in. Hop inside and the bucket seats are
comfortable and original with the drivers beginning to show its
age. The wood like trim is a nice touch and gives the car a
somewhat classy feel. The console mounted shifter is in the perfect
spot while keeping with the "Pony Car" feel. The big round gauges
are placed perfectly on each side of the steering wheel allowing
for unobstructed views. With survivor cars gaining popularity in
the marketplace I do not see this 72 Mach 1 being here for too
long. Options on this 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 include;
AM/FM/Cassette, Power Steering,Vinyl Interior, Seatbelts, and
Radial Tires. This 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 can be seen, including
