Vehicle Description
The Ford F-150 is a staple of the car world and has become
synonymous with toughness, durability and power. Representing the
6th generation of Ford F-series truck, the new for 1973 models had
new chassis, better engines, and new styling. Galvanized sheet
metal was also introduced to better fight rust. 1976 represented a
milestone for the F-series as it became the best selling truck in
America, a position it has held since.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this very original 1976 F-250
highboy for your consideration. Finished in a classic Wimbledon
White, this truck has its original sheet metal as well as paint and
trim and is one of the most original and rust free examples we have
seen. The body is in very good shape and is free of any rot or
dents. The truck rides on some 16x7 steel wheels and hubcaps on new
BFGoodrich mud terrain tires. Other exterior features include side
steps, a trailer hitch, spotlight, and a pushbar. The bed also has
bedliner installed. The interior is in beautiful shape and is
pretty much original. The dark blue seats and panels are in great
condition. The bench seat has good padding and the dash is crack
free. It also features an aftermarket tach.
The original 360cid engine was swapped out for a more powerful
428cid V8 and is mated to the original 4-speed manual which had
been rebuilt at 28k miles. The engine is very strong and the truck
drives very well. With just 88k original miles on the clock, you'd
be hard pressed to find another honest and original highboy in this
condition. You just have to have it!
