Vehicle Description
Sold new exclusively by authorized Shelby dealers in California,
the 2008 Shelby GT-C was produced at Shelby's Las Vegas facilities
making a great performance car even better. It features special
paint, striping, Shelby emblems, a special grille and front fascia,
rear-fender air scoops, and a mean profile view uncluttered by a
rear spoiler. It's equipped with 4.6-liter V8 engine and 5-speed
manual transmission with a Hurst short-throw shifter. It also has
an X-pipe exhaust system, 3.55 rear-axle ratio, and the Ford Racing
Power Upgrade Package including a 90-mm cold-air intake,
performance mufflers, and performance-calibrated engine management.
The Ford Racing Handling Package consists of performance dampers,
lowering springs, anti-roll bars, and a strut-tower brace. In
addition to the GT-C package, other available upgrades included
Baer brakes with 6-piston mono-block calipers up front, and AR
custom wheels mounting a set of Pirelli tires. It has 6,748 actual
miles and features Carroll Shelby's iconic signature, which was
added to the passenger-side sun visor at the factory. The factory
navigation system is yet another very rare and desirable factory
option. Production of the Shelby GT-C Mustang was limited, with
just 215 units built in all. CARFAX shows Ford Motor Company
