Vehicle Description
Sold new on July 25, 2008, in New York, this 997 generation GT2 was
delivered in Basalt Black Metallic over a full black leather
interior. It was optioned with deviated stitching in red
throughout, red instruments and adaptive sport seats, sports
chromos, aluminum trim and a racing fire extinguisher. Within a few
months of being sold, it was transported to California. It has
travelled 3,524 actual miles since delivery and is in
showroom-condition. Since 2013 it has been in the possession of two
prominent Porsche collectors. It has never been in an accident or
had any insurance claims. The 3.6-liter, twin-turbocharged flat-6
engine comes with larger turbochargers and a new intake manifold
that uses expansion chambers to cool the fuel and air mixture, and
is backed by a 6-speed manual transmission. The rear exhaust
muffler and tailpipes are made of titanium to save weight. The GT2
has Porsche ceramic composite brakes as standard equipment. A copy
of the official Porsche Certificate of Authenticity accompanies
this car.
