This stunning 2007 40th Anniversary Super Snake car with only 571
actual miles is modeled after the very first 40th Anniversary Super
Snake, which is currently on display in the Shelby Las Vegas
Showroom. #CSM 07SS0901 is one of 19 cars modified in Canada and
one of five that is a red coupe in Canada. Worldwide, this car is
one of less than 600 2007 GT500s that have been converted to Super
Snakes. Powered by a V8 engine and Tremec 6-speed manual
transmission with a short-throw ball shifter, this car has the full
725hp upgrade, which includes 20" Shelby/Alcoa Super Snake wheels
that are no longer a part of the Super Snake package. It is fitted
with a 725hp polished Kenne Bell blower, Shaker 1000 stereo,
stainless headers and X pipe, Shelby/Elbach front and rear
stabilizer bar and Shelby Cat-Back Borla polished stainless
extension pipes, muffler and tailpipes. This car also has the
Shelby/Elbach Super Snake McPherson strut front and rear suspension
package, and Shelby Super Snake front and rear brake cooling
package. The dash is fitted with the Shelby authentication plaque,
and other Shelby authentication plaques are found on the radiator
support, engine and supercharger. The passenger air bag cover is
signed by Carroll Shelby and an authentication certificate for the
signature is included. Originally purchased from a Ford Showroom in
Anitston, AL, on June 7, 2007, the car was shipped to Canada and,
in June 2009, with only 209 miles, it was converted to a 40th
Anniversary Super Snake. It has been stored in climate-controlled
storage all its life. The original MSO and Window Sticker come with
the car, as well as a matched, numbered red cloth car cover. CARFAX
shows Ford Motor Company manufacturer safety recalls opened on
02/20/2008: Passenger airbag; 05/27/2015: Driver airbag inflator
replacement; and 06/30/2016 TAKATA non-dessicated phased stabilized
ammonium nitrate PSAN passenger frontal airbag inflators.
