1966 Lincoln Continental 4-Door Convertible in Grand Rapids, Michigan

The Lincoln Continental 4-Door Convertible has become an iconic American classic. In 1966, only 3,180 were produced and we are fortunate to offer this nice example for consideration. This car is finished in factory Medium Turquoise Metallic (code U) paint over an original Aqua (code 87) leather interior. It is powered by the original and just rebuilt 462ci/340hp 4bbl V8 (G code) engine with a C6 Automatic transmission. The car has been completely gone through by our mechanic with new exhaust, new brakes, new plugs, new tires, new head gasket, and the power convertible top folds up and down with ease. We have a significant amount of time and dollars invested in this car, and it is now time to find a new garage with an owner who will love it as much as we have.

This is the cleanest and final Lincoln 4-Door Convertible we acquired close to a year ago from a local Lincoln collector. The most distinguished features on this car are the fully functioning power convertible soft top and the timeless suicide doors. (too bad Lincoln didn't reintroduce them on their recent Continental revival). The power windows, speedometer, radio, tilt steering wheel, power antenna all function as they should. The car was repainted the original factory color but the interior remains all original. It comes with all our recent service records AND the original build sheet. Pretty cool piece of history you won't find with others.
