For Sale: 1955 Ford F-100 Restomod in Mesa, Arizona
The great thing about a vintage truck is that it has all the right
features for both flash and substance. This 1955 Ford F-100 is a
great example with bright red paint, all the right custom details,
upgraded suspension, and a strong-running 351ci V8. That makes it a
turn-key package that's ready to turn heads with you as early as
tomorrow.
The moment people catch sight of this one in the sunshine, they're
going to know it's something special. Red doesn't get much bolder,
and that's thanks to a modern professional application of a
clearcoat paint. And this is already on top of one of the best
vintage pickup designs around. That curvy bodywork has a classic
old pickup look that also manages to be sporty at the same time
thanks to the forward leaning stance, steel running boards, and
rounded rear fenders. Brightwork is always a must on a '50s
machine, and so you get great pieces like the mirror-like bumpers,
intricate trim around the Custom Cab, and cool half-moon wheel
covers. And this one has all the right details to impress, like the
glossy lumber of the real wood truck bed and Ford emblem
taillights.
The custom feeling continues the moment you open the door. The gray
cloth and vinyl bench seat is vastly more comfortable than anything
that came out of the 1950s. It coordinates nicely with the matching
side panels to create a uniform feeling. As you look across the
dash, you see a nice mixture of old and new worlds. You have
vintage style-gauges looking clean and clear, and the vintage
heater is a great touch. Plus, you have nice upgrades like the
Lokar shifter and AM/FM/CD stereo that's hidden in the glovebox. In
fact, these two styles come together perfectly on the Lecarra
steering wheel. After all, it has the intricate '50s style look,
but it's grippy feeling gets you ready to enjoy the drive.
When you have an engine that looks this good, it's great to have a
reverse-hinged hood so everyone can get a closer look. It's Ford's
famous 351 cubic-inch Windsor V8, and it was rebuilt in 2014 for
both beauty and performance. Shining elements like the air topper
and aluminum radiator join the bold blue block and valve covers for
an eye-catching presentation within the dark engine bay. Plus, the
V8 has all the right performance upgrades, including an Edelbrock
600 CFM four-barrel carburetor, electric choke, Assault Racing
Products dual plane aluminum intake, and Lunati Voodoo cam &
lifters. And while it will be fun to sit idle and let people listen
to the rumble of the dual exhaust, this F-100 was also built for
driving. It has an upgraded Mustang II-style independent front
suspension with tubular A-arms, power steering, three-speed
automatic transmission, and front disc brakes.
Complete with owner's manual, you're looking at a beautifully
built, well sorted pickup with a strong V8 heart. A total package
like this won't stay available for long. Call today!!!
