This 1959 Jaguar Mark IX presented here is showing great patina and
styling, and is fun to drive. It has been recently serviced by
Jaguar specialists including a new clutch, brake master cylinders,
power steering components, ball joints, bushings, new tires were
balanced and installed, as well as various other services. This
Mark IX features many factory options including a manual sunroof,
bucket up front, with deep, rich wood accents on the dash, doors,
sunroof, and rear picnic trays, which complete the elegant look.
The dash has full Smiths instrumentation, and features a
RadioMobile radio and the interior is trimmed in dark blue leather.
The refined appearance extends outwards to the Old English White
paint. The 3.8-liter engine is strong with SU carbs, and a 4-speed
manual transmission. The chrome is presentable, with a large front
grille and bumpers that bring the attention to the beauty and lines
of the front of the car, with the spats helping to complement the
overall refinement. The trunk is spacious and offers a lot of cargo
space. It also has a gleaming hood ornament completing the Jaguar
look.
