This Japanese muscle car is an excellent example to invest now as these cars have been on the up and up recently in value and finding an unmolested stock example with full documentation since new is nearly impossible to find! The CarFax is clean and with supporting documentation we believe that the 87,559 miles to be original. Made in Mitsubishi's Nagoya assembly plant in March 1991, this example arrived in Tacoma, Washington then went by rail to Roundtree Imports, Inc., doing business as Suburban Mitsubishi, in Des Moines, Iowa. This well-equipped car came with the following optional equipment - compact disc player, floor mats, leather seats and wheel locks. This car has had three previous owners. The car's Nairobi Beige Metallic paint (code S22) and trim are in overall very good condition, with some minor blemishes visible upon close inspection. The car's windows are intact and tinted. The rear window has a defroster grid and wiper/washer combination. The car's lights are in very good order. This Japanese speedster rolls on Bridgestone Fuzion HR1 tires, size 245/45R17 at all four corners. Each tire surrounds factory five-spoke alloy wheels. The wheels and new tires are in overall very good condition. The car's bodywork is straight and solid, its bumpers are in great condition, the engine bay is very tidy and the battery appears new. Under the hood is a transverse mounted 3.0L DOHC, 24-valve V-6 engine with multi-point fuel injection, twin turbos and twin intercoolers. Backing the motor is a five-speed manual transmission. Unlike other 3000 GTs, this model sports all-wheel drive and in a trick move at the time, four-wheel steering. Other driver convenience features included electronically controlled suspension, power four-wheel disc brakes with anti-lock, rear spoiler with active aero feature, cruise control, automatic off halogen headlights, fog lights, power antenna, power mirrors, power locks, power windows and tilt steering column with remote stereo controls on the steering wheel. Inside, the leather interior (code 14W) is overall very great order. The passenger front bucket seats are in very fine shape especially with a car from 1991 and really shows how well cared for this VR4 has been . The matching carpet is in good shape, while the headliner is in very good order. The instrument panel is in one piece, looks great and contains full instrumentation. Inside the leather-wrapped, four-spoke steering wheel is an airbag. The inner door panels are in good order while the mirror glass, center console and leather-wrapped shifter look great. Rounding out the interior is a factory six-speaker AM/FM stereo with ETR, graphic equalizer, clock, a cassette deck and a compact disc player.
