Vehicle Description
Chevrolet built 3,255 SSRs in 2003, and only 743 were painted
Slingshot Yellow like this one. This SSR is loaded with factory
options, including the factory windscreen, which is still in the
plastic bag, as well as the storage bag for the windscreen and
factory-installed integrated hard-side saddlebag storage on both
sides of the bed. It even has two extra wood strips for the bed.
Powered by a traditional 5.3-liter V8 engine and 4-speed automatic
transmission. Modern creature comforts include a power folding
hardtop, dual power leather seats, Bose stereo system, ABS, air
conditioning, keyless entry, power windows and locks. The hard bed
cover opens with a remote to allow access to a fully carpeted cargo
area. The floor of the cargo area has wood strips running front to
back, inspired by the wood lined beds of Chevrolet's older trucks.
With the exception of a cold-air intake and a clear bra, this SSR
is all original and has been very well-maintained by its two
owners.
