Vehicle Description
The NHRA Special Edition Formula and Trans Am was a commemorative
edition was built to celebrate the NHRA's 50th anniversary. Only
534 were built during a three-year production run from 2000 to
2002. In 2002 there were only 189 NHRA Special Edition Trans Am
coupes built with automatic transmissions. 2002 was also the final
year for Firebird production. With 44,000 actual miles (title reads
mileage exempt), this Trans Am is all original, except for the
addition of a removable strut brace and an SLP cold-air intake. It
has T-Tops that still retain their factory shades and is powered by
a 5.7-liter V8. It is loaded with other great options, including
leather seats, air conditioning and ABS.
