Vehicle Description
The seventh-generation Impala was only built for three years: 1994,
1995 and 1996. The cars built in 1996 were unique because it was
the final year of production and the only year for the console
shifter and analog instrument cluster. This SS is powered by its
original 5.7-liter V8 engine and 4-speed automatic transmission and
is equipped with an upgraded K&N cold-air intake, original
limited slip differential, sport-tuned suspension with reinforced
shocks and springs, 4-wheel disc brakes, high-capacity reverse-flow
cooling system, transmission cooler, dual exhaust and a
higher-output electrical system.
