For Sale: 1969 Cadillac Fleetwood Limousine in St. Louis, Missouri
1969 Cadillac Series 75 Limousine Recently released from long-term
storage out of Deerfield, Florida Sable Black exterior and black
leather and medium gray Dubonnet cloth interior 472 CID V-8 engine
and three-speed Turbo Hydramatic 400 automatic transmission 51,000
original miles Auxiliary jump seats and foot rests, radio controls,
ceiling-mounted flood lights and door locks in the rear Rear window
defogger One of 1,156 examples produced in 1969 It is long and it
is sleek. MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1969
Cadillac Series 75 Limousine from a time when Cadillac was the
"Standard of the World." This was one of 1,156 examples made in
1969 and has been removed from long-term storage out of Deerfield,
Florida. Dressed in stately Sable Black, the paint and trim are in
very good order. The window's glass panels are clear and intact.
The lights are also clear and crack-free. This limo rides on
235/75R15 whitewall tires at all four corners that surround
original factory wheel covers. All of the limousines body panels
are straight, the engine bay is very tidy, the battery looks good
and the bumpers shine brilliantly. Under the hood is a 472 CID V-8
engine linked to a Turbo Hydramatic 400 three-speed automatic
transmission. Driver assist features include power steering, power
brakes, power locks, power windows, power mirrors and power front
seat. There are also radio controls, ceiling-mounted floodlights
and door locking controls. Although the previous, modernized engine
from 1964 was compact and light for its displacement and output,
429CID represented the limit of the original architecture's
expansion, and it had been surpassed
byChrysler's440andLincoln's462and460. As a result Cadillac
introduced an all-new engine for 1968. At introduction, the new
engine had a 4.30-inch bore and a 4.06-inch stroke for a
displacement of 472 CID. "Extensively redesigned" to ease
maintenance, it used only 90 percent as many parts and 75 percent
as many gasketed joints as before. Used through 1974, it was
designed with potential for 600 CID. Inside, the chauffeur's
compartment is upholstered in black with black leather seating
while on the other side of the power glass divider, the passenger
compartment is done in a medium gray Dubonnet cloth. The front
bench is in good order, while the spacious gray rear passenger
seat, foot rests and accessory jump seats are also in good shape.
The horn, HVAC, and fuel gauge are inoperable. The black instrument
panel, as wide as many television sets today, looks good. The
factory three-spoke steering wheel is present. The inner door
panels, mirror glass and shift lever are all in decent condition.
Completing the interior is a factory AM radio. TheCadillac Series
75 originally replaced the 1935355Eas the company's mainstream
car. Although its overall size and character was largely unchanged,
the 1969 Cadillac was restyled in theEldoradoimage. An
Eldorado-like front fender treatment evolved and helped to
emphasize a stronger horizontal design line.Rear quarters were
extended to give the car a longer look. There was an all-new grille
with dual horizontal headlamps positioned in the outboard step down
areas of the grille. The hood was again extended, a total of
2.5inches to add the impression of extra length.Stretched body
and trim; Fleetwood emblems and embellishments; doors cut into a
formal, high-headroom roof, and generally higher appointment and
trim levels continued to mark Cadillac's most luxurious
line.Standard equipment included automatic level control,
automatic climate control, rear window defogger, four rear ashtrays
and 8.20 x 15 four-ply black-wall tires. Competition to this
Cadillac in 1969 included Lincoln's Continental Limousines,
Chrysler's Imperial Limousines and Rolls-Royce's Phantom VI
Limousines. This car is currently located at our facility in St.
Louis, Missouri. Current mileage on the odometer shows 51,966
miles. It is sold as is, where is, on a clean and clear, mileage
exempt title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!! VIN: S9123747 Note: Please see
