The 996 GT2 was the pinnacle of turbocharged performance in the 996 era and provided the most raw driving experience with rear-wheel drive only and no traction control. The only driver assist the car has is ABS.
996 GT2 production was very limited with only 1,217 examples produced. Of those 1,217 only 317 were delivered to the United States- with 90 of those examples produced in the 2003 model year.
