This custom Pontiac Trans Am T-Top car started out as a very nice
Trans Am that was sanded to bare metal everywhere. PPG base
coat/clear coat was applied to everything and sanded and polished
to a great shine. The underside was also sanded to bare metal on a
rotisserie. Hundreds of hours were spent on the body and paint
alone. This custom is powered by its original 5.0-liter 8-cylinder
engine and automatic transmission and features new cam lifters,
timing chain, water pump and power steering pump, as well as a new
heater core with new hoses. Everything under the hood was freshened
up and repainted for a clean look and the engine bay was painted in
the same base coat/clear coat the body is in. It rides on new KYB
struts and Ibach springs up front and KYB shocks in back and rare
turbo-cast wheels and bowling ball hubcaps wrapped in new
BFGoodrich tires. The interior features recovered seats in the
original Parella cloth, custom electronics and fiberglass pieces,
power driver's seat, and a Kenwood DVD double din stereo that is
iPhone and iPad compatible.
