Vehicle Description
This '55 drop-top with a laser-straight body and hand-smoothed
floor was frame-off rotisserie restored and custom-painted in
Mystic Black over custom silver. Riding on powder-coated Art
Morrison tri-five GT sport chassis, this custom convertible is
powered by a factory new GM LT4 supercharged V8 engine backed by a
new 4L75E 4-speed automatic transmission. It has been upgraded with
ceramic-coated stainless-steel headers and dual 3" exhaust, chrome
brake booster, high-quality American Autowire wiring and a GMPP
harness for the drivetrain. It features a Jaguar custom independent
rear suspension with rear chrome drag links, front polished chrome
upper and lower control arms, Wilwood 6-piston polished front
brakes with slotted rotors, new stainless-steel gas tank,
stainless-steel brake lines, and aluminum fuel lines. The custom
leather interior features front and rear bucket seats with a
custom-fabricated full console wrapped in matching leather,
specialty power windows, Vintage Air, and an Alpine media receiver
with Alpine R speakers and a Critical Mass amplifier. No expense
was spared on this Bel Air's build, with a new Stayfast power
convertible top, custom boot and its show-quality stainless steel
and chrome. Both the engine and the transmission are backed by a GM
factory warranty.
