#24 Chevrolet NASCAR is North Carolina and this 2011 Jeff Gordon
#24 DuPont Chevrolet is a piece of NASCAR history. It is the last
known #24 car to be sold to a private individual directly from the
Hendrick Motorsports Race Team. Except for an updated Carbon Fiber
rear spoiler, the exterior has the unmistakable appearance of Jeff
Gordon's Dupont Chevrolet. (The original 2011 NASCAR spoiler is
included.) This car, chassis #24-678, was campaigned in 2011 on the
NASCAR Sprint Cup circuit. Its first race was the Indianapolis
Brickyard 400 on July 29th. Gordon qualified 8th and finished 2nd.
The Chevrolet next raced on August 21st at the Pure Michigan 400.
Jeff qualified 9th and finished 6th. Its last run was on September
9th at Chicagoland Speedway, the Geico 400, qualifying 23rd and
finishing 24th. The chassis is now set-up for road course track-day
events like Hooked on Driving (HOD) and Club racing. This NASCAR
could be set up for more serious Road Racing Series like the
Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) Assoc. on tracks such as Road
Atlanta and many other road race tracks across the US. Rick Ware
Racing in Thomasville North Carolina spent two years building the
car. He has 25 years of NASCAR experience building cars. The engine
is a professionally built Hendrick SB-2 that produces 850bhp and
the gearbox is the SR-1 4-speed used by NASCAR teams on road
courses. This classic racecar is complete and ready to run, or show
